The Canadian Federation of Agriculture’s (CFA) Annual General Meeting took place from February 24-25, 2026 at the Delta City Centre Hotel in Ottawa, ON.
This year’s theme for the AGM was Let’s Grow Canada: Building the Future of Canadian Agriculture, examining the building blocks we need to put into place today to create a more prosperous agriculture sector that improves the lives of all Canadians.
During the CFA AGM, the CFA Board passed 50 resolutions for the upcoming year, which can be viewed here.
AGM Spotlight: Young Farmers of Canada
CFA would like to thank Farm Credit Canada for being the exclusive sponsor of the Young Farmers Program at the CFA AGM, which provided a discount on registration for the AGM for young farmers. Young farmers that attended the CFA AGM represented a variety of commodities and regions from across the country. During the AGM we had various activities for young farmers such as.
Farm Credit Canada also sponsored the Young Farmers Pre-Reception, which had special guests Senator Mary Robinson and former MP Francis Drouin.
