The CFA Summer Meeting is one of the premiere agriculture events of the year, taking place from July 15th-16th at the Marriott Harbourfront Hotel in Halifax, NS.
CFA Policy Summit - Building Canada’s Agricultural Growth Engine: Policy Priorities for the Next Policy Framework
CFA’s Policy Summit brings together farmers and leaders from across Canada’s food supply chain for engaging discussions on the pressing topics of Canadian Agriculture. This year’s theme is Building Canada’s Agricultural Growth Engine: Policy Priorities for the Next Policy Framework, taking a look at what is working, what isn’t, and the changes needed to make an enabling framework for Canadian agriculture.

Federal-Provincial-Territorial Roundtable
The FPT Roundtable is an annual event that brings together the Federal, Provincial and Territorial Ministers of Agriculture to take part in roundtable discussions with farmers and leaders throughout the food supply chain. This year will feature breakout tables that will allow for engaging and honest discussions with Ministers on the development of the Next Policy Framework.
Government-Hosted Ministerial Reception
The FPT Roundtable will be followed by a government-hosted reception that evening with all the Ministers in attendance from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the the Westin Nova Scotian.
* Please note that this reception has strict capacity limits and is managed by the government, not the CFA. We recommend registering all intended representatives from your organization at this stage. If attendance numbers are restricted by government organizers and we are required to limit representation, we will advise delegates as soon as possible. Historically, we have been able to accommodate all attendees, but wanted to provide advance notice of this possibility.
